Raine dunlop photography

Meet the photographer

Hi, I’m a transmasculine and disabled photographer working on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. I specialize in creating images for marginalized clients and offer sliding scale rates for community and nonprofit projects.

  • “Raine photographed our pop-up art market for queer and trans creators, and the photos were perfect! Raine captured the energy of the event, took beautiful individual photos that the vendors loved, and was very warm, flexible, and self-directed during the event. Their care and talented eye are very appreciated - I definitely recommend hiring them especially for community events.”

  • “So pleased with how my photos turned out! Raine was able to make me feel so comfortable taking photos and was able to capture portraits that feel authentic and real. I normally hate getting my photo taken, but with Raine the process felt safe and fun!”

  • “Absolutely wonderful photographer and overall fabulous human! Super happy with both my professional and casual photos.”

  • “Raine was amazing to work with! They put me at ease during our photoshoot, making sure I was comfortable and that we were aligned on the vision for the shots we wanted. They were very collaborative when we were planning the shoot but also accommodating and adaptable on the day itself as we navigated changing time, weather, lighting and multiple locations. The results were professional, high-quality photos and the comfortable experience taking them are all part of why I'm leaving 5 out of 5 stars!
