I’m Raine (they/them), a trans and disabled photographer based in Vancouver on the unceded lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.

I first picked up a camera over ten years ago, and what began as curiosity has grown into a steady love for documenting moments that matter.

I’m currently in my final year of law school, and photography exists alongside that work. The way I move through both spaces is shaped by a desire to be responsive to the people I work with, guided by care, accessibility, and intention, and informed by commitments to anti-racism and decolonization.

My approach to photography is grounded in creating spaces that feel thoughtful and soft, where people can show up as themselves and feel held in the process.
